1. Mobile Phones Are Distractions
This is the biggest truth and fact about mobile devices, they are a distraction to young kids, and when a child is given these mobile devices, he or she has a divided attendance, as the time to study is also divided and more attention is given to the mobile phone, than to studies.
Moreover, school is a place for learning and not where phones are brought to be operated. Whatever a child wants to do with his or her mobile phone should be done at home and not in school.
Once a child is allowed to use a mobile device in class or during teaching time, that child won’t be focused either on social media (Internet) or might be playing games or watching movies, which will also distract another student, and at the end of the day, those kids won’t achieve or learn anything in class.

2. Phones Create More Addiction
Mobile Phones cause addiction and when students get addicted to their devices, it’s very difficult for such a child to learn in school because every bit of time the child needs to spend in studies, that child burns in operating the phone.
Also, more use of phones can cause health issues to the child’s sight because of the light rays from the mobile phone that constantly go into the eyes. Most kids can stay focused on their devices for hours without blinking off or moving out, which has a bigger effect on their sight.
Addiction to devices by children is very difficult to correct or let go of, which is why they shouldn’t even use phones both in school and at home until they are mature enough to control their emotions and not all the phones take over them.

Yes, this has been found among students who use phones in schools. I have experienced a situation where a student used his device to send harassing messages to a female mate in school, and also played unhealthy pranks on others.
We all watch movies where students also abuse mobile usage in schools, using them for the wrong purposes, and others even use their phones to send their teachers messages in the name of love.
Let’s also talk about those students who send harassing and unwanted photos to fellow students, including anonymous messages that can tarnish personalities. This can be avoided if phone usages are banned from schools.

The use of mobile devices nowadays is quite expensive for a student to handle. Let’s start with the cost of the mobile phone, can a child afford it? However, if a parent decides to purchase that phone for the child, can he or she maintain it?

We also have to purchase of phone charger in case the old one gets spoilt, and other expenses that come with owning a mobile device, so do you think a student can afford all those expenses?, and the answer is NO, which concludes that students should not be allowed to use mobile phones in schools.

5. Cell Phones Could Be Used For Malpractices
Allowing the use of cell phones by students can promote examination malpractice. During examinations, when students are left with their devices, they could have access to the internet for questions and answers, which is cheating and is a big offence.
So to prevent cheating or examination malpractice, mobile phones shouldn’t be allowed among students in schools, so they can read and write their exams and the best will be known through what they wrote using their brains and not using the internet.
